Which filter hooks should I use to…

    So I’m trying to filter post content, to prevent it from being displayed for specific circumstances. (For example on the homepage). Which filter hook should I use so that I can read the list of posts that will be displayed on home page, and edit out certain ones.

    Plz help I’m so new 🙁

    You can control which posts appear first in the list on the front page. In admin, go to a post that you want to appear on the home page. In the Publish menu (on the right) under Visibility choose Stick this post to the front page. Do this for each post you want showing on the front page — let’s say that is 5 posts.

    Now go to Settings (on the left) under Reading:
    Blog pages show at most xx posts
    Put in 5.

    Now you have a front page that shows 5 posts of your choosing.
