I have WP installed locally using MAMP and while working through a theme development tutorial I deleted the ‘Blog URL’ from the admin > settings > general (the second field, same path as main directory). Now I cannot log into the admin panel, although I can load pages. Which file and line must I edit to restore my absolute path?

    Thank you,
    J.

    thanks esmi-
i finally checked in the database and right there they were. the reason my install quit working was that the first of the two paths, wordpress url (‘site’in db), had index.php tacked onto it, so when the blog url (‘home’ in db) disappeared it was broken. i did learn a lot about how the code is put together and editing the database directly, so that’s some consolation. the page you linked has multiple solutions so it’s bookmarked. thanks again!
