Which Countries / Merchants Accounts are supported?

    Hi there!

    Thanks for this plugin it looks like a great alternative! 🙂

    However, my question is, which countries are supported for these 2 options: “PayPal Website Payments Pro 3.0 (DoDirectPayment)” / “PayPal Payments Pro 2.0 (PayFlow)”

    I know that PayPal has A LOT of different account / merchant account types and does NOT support ALL its payment options in or for all countries.

    So I am from Germany and could I use all 3 options of your plugin for a shop based in Germany?

    If you have any info on this would be awesome!

    Hi Dave,

    Unfortunately, Payments Pro is only available for merchants with PayPal accounts based in the US, UK, or Canada.

    You could still use the Express Checkout option, though, and people could still pay you with a credit card. You just want to make sure to enable the “Allow customers to checkout without a PayPal account using their credit card” option within the Express Checkout settings.

    You would also need to make sure the PayPal Account Optional feature is enabled in your PayPal account profile.
