    Hello,

First of all, thank you for your great plugin!

I would like to change the width of the row layout so it doesn’t go over the whole page. The Editor Width setting seems only to affect the editor itself but doesn’t change the width.
The block setting itself only comes with a margin option for top and bottom but no left and right margin what I would need… but I guess there must be somewhere another option. 🙂

    Hi!

You can use the rows ‘Structure Settings’ to define a maximum content width.
This way you can have a full width row with the inside column(s) boxed inside a max width container.

In this video Ben explains the setting at around: 0:58

I hope this is the setting you were looking for.

Unfortunately, this setting won’t work. It is just for the content itself but I use a background color for the column and I need to change the width of the column and not what is inside.

Is there any other option for this?

    Hey,
A blocks width depends on your theme. If your theme is Gutenberg ready then you can select normal which should be the normal width of your content area, wide which should be wider then that but not fullwidth and full which should be fullwidth.

If you need to go smaller then your themes “normal” you can add a row block, set the max-width then add another row block inside that area that would contain it.

    Does that make sense?

Here is some more information here: https://weblines.com.au/gutenberg-blocks-wide-alignment-full-width/

Thank you Ben for the info! I can choose the width of the theme but I just wanted to change it on one page and not the whole website. Do you know if it is possible to change the content width on only one page?

Otherwise, I guess I will have to put one row block into another.

Within the block editor there isn’t a way to change your themes page width, I would guess it could be really easy to add a little css into the customizer to do that, I can help with that if you send a link.

Otherwise within the block editor, you would need to nest two row blocks.

Unfortunately, my site is still offline but thank you for the offer. Now, I know at least what to look for!

    Thanks Ben!
