    Hi palmdoc!

The Mark as Read links will work anywhere, it’s just a matter of you styling them appropriately to fit in with the rest of the Buddyboss theme.

    At a guess, I’d say:

    – the Mark Topic as Read tag could go in <li class="bbp-header">, floated/aligned right.

    – the Mark Forum as Read tag could go next to <div class="bbp-breadcrumb">, also floated/aligned right.

Hi I got help in the Buddyboss forum
    http://www.buddyboss.com/support-forums/topic/bbpress-go-to-first-unread-post/

anyway the answer is to edit the content-single-forum.php and loop-replies.php from the bbPress template folder and then copy them to the bbPress directory of the Buddyboss child theme.

One suggestion – the “>” is rather inconspicuous. I wonder if it could be a colored “>” or something more prominent

    Thanks

I’m glad you found what you’re looking for!

In relation to the “>”, the default styling is intended to fit in with the default bbPress theme. You are of course free to style this however you like:

The relevant classes are .gtf-new-post for the button, and .gtf-new-post:after for the “>” itself. You could, for example, make the font size larger, change the color, or even change the content itself to something different.

Good luck, and thanks for the review 🙂
