Where to put my customized RSS feed

    @amweiss98

    I’m running WordPress 3.1 in a multi-site mode. I want to use my own feed (I’ll call it myfeed.php) instead of the default rss2 feed.

    I’m using this filter, which is in my theme’s function.php file.

    function my_rss_link($output, $show)
    {
    if (in_array($show, array(‘rss_url’, ‘rss2_url’, ‘rss’, ‘rss2’, ”)))
    $output = ‘http://www.example.com/myfeed.php’;

    return $output;
    }
    add_filter(‘bloginfo_url’, ‘my_rss_link’, 10, 2);
    add_filter(‘feed_link’, ‘my_rss_link’, 10, 2);

    I tried putting my myfeed.php in the theme’s folder, but that doesn’t work (get a 404 not found) and then put in the wp-includes folder (again, get a 404 not found).

    So, my question is where should I put my myfeed.php in order for it to show up at

    http://www.example.com/myfeed.php

    Thanks.
