I want to add admin notifications when a user registers. I see that you can add the code found here http://rocketgeek.com/plugins/wp-members/users-guide/filter-hooks/wpmem_email_notify/.

Question is - where in the plugin files do I add that code?

    Thanks for any help!

You should add the code to functions.php.

Side note: never edit the plugin files themselves because the changes you make to the plugin files will be overwritten when you update the plugin when a new version is released.

Where would you add the code in functions.php?

Do I go to appearance/editor/functions.php and then...

    Thanks for any help!

Yes, you can use the editor that you can access via the appearance menu and just copy and paste the code.

Paste the code anywhere or should I be looking somewhere specific in functions.php?

You can put the code anywhere, but if you are not familiar with PHP then it is best to put it at the very bottom of the file.
