I have been trying to transfer a webpage into a WordPress page but I don’t know how to transfer the CSS. On the left side of the control panel there is a tab named “Pages” for HTML pages and one named “Media” for images, but I don’t know where to put the CSS.

  • If this is a WordPress.org (and not a WordPress.com) installation, you add your custom CSS to the bottom of your theme’s stylesheet, but are best advised to use a child theme to avoid having to repeat such edits when the theme is updated.

Admin Dashboard>Appearance>Editor>the default file shown in the editor is your default stylesheet.

One can also use an FTP tool such as FileZilla or your host provided file manager to upload/edit such files.

I am new to WordPress and I cannot tell if I am on the admin dashboard or not but since there was no appearance I guess it is not the admin dashboard. Is there a way to add CSS to a page without access to the admin dashboard?

    No.
