  • You don’t, you put a favicon.ico in the same directory, and its all handled automatically

    If you want, feel free to add the following code to your html head (in the WP Header template):

    <link rel="Shortcut Icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />

    Just place a favicon.ico in the blog directory? I tried this, but so far its not picking it up…

    Ideas?

    It needs to be in the root directory of your domain. You only get one favicon per domain.

    Sorry for the double posting – thank you very much for the replies. I guess people can see it, for some reason I cant! lol

    I tried using IE and Opera, cant see it in either… curious..
