  • I would love to find this out as well…the menu bar overlaps my slideshow and the slideshow is well not a slideshow anymore. 1.12 has some weirdness to it for sure.

Version 1.11 in the mean time. I’m pretty sure the developer will try to fix it when they get a chance.

Hi Jose, Version 1.11 has issues as well, I rolled back to 1.10 and the site works fine.

    Hi @frank Warwick, @jose Castaneda, @dafutr,

some important info on Custom Community

1.) Sorry for any new bugs, we are already working on the known issues..

The rework to make Custom Community responsive with 1 click was a big rebuild and a bunch of bugs sneaked in (version 1.11) – most issues are fixed with 1.12, but still some things open to get the thing 100% straight again.

2.) If you observe any strange behaviours and like to report or contribute, you are more than welcome to browse our issue tracker and comment, or add new issues there:
    https://github.com/Themekraft/Custom-Community/issues

3.) What we’re about to change for the future
We are increasing the time frame before launching new features now, for pro and free version as well.

Read more about Custom Community in our last blog post:
    http://themekraft.com/custom-community-some-quick-update-fixes/

Hope this helps, if you have any thoughts, comments,
this is your moment to give us feedback and tell us what you would like to see! 😉

Thanks again to J. Castaneda for the awesome quick review of the important fixes from 1.12! Version 1.13 coming ASAP…

Thanks to all for feedback, contribution and using Custom Community,
hope you enjoy the theme 🙂 Konrad

    Thanks for the feedback @konrads

I dont think a road map is needed but I would like to see a release section that tells users about whats been done in each of the releases, this added credibility to the builds and shows the development history for all to see putting more faith in committing to a theme ie.

    V1.13
    New:

    • added this and that
    • added that thing
    • Fixed:

    • added this and that
    • added that thing
    • V1.12

    Hi Frank,

    thanks for your feedback,

(for now) you can see all changes by reviewing the closed issues on github:
    https://github.com/Themekraft/Custom-Community/issues?milestone=&page=1&state=closed

for the future, we will make sure to add a more nice changelog on our blog,
than the history you can browse in github 😉

    thanks for feedback 🙂 konrad

@konrads you’re welcome. 🙂 I look forward to reviewing the next one.

@frank a road map is very important as a developer. As a user a changelog can be useful. Often times most people don’t read it which is one reason some don’t include it and is only recommended as a guideline for themes. 🙂
