[resolved] where to add filter line in functions.php? (4 posts)

I am new and unfamiliar with editing the php files, so when I added
    add_filter( 'visual-form-builder-css', '__return_false' ); to my functions.php, everything went haywire.
Can someone please recommend an area// before this // after this// where I should add that line to the functions.php so that I can continue to editing the plug-in's css?

    Thank you in advance,

Make sure you place that line in between the opening and closing <?php ?> tags.

I've added this line in the parent theme's functions.php file.

I've copied the visual-form-builder.css into my child theme's style.css file.

The changes I make don't seem to be taking effect.

How do I know if steps one and two were successful? Or did I do them wrong?
