Where the heck is my dashboard?

  • Hi

I have just ‘inherited’ the running of our company blog, which hasn’t been touched for over a year.

When I log in to WordPress there is no Dashboard, just a rectangle made up of a broken line of dashes. I am running version 3.5.1 Do I need to upgrade?

I’m a novice with WordPress but not a complete beginner however it would be great if you could keep any advice as simple as possible… if you’re going to talk to me about coding then you might as well talk to me in Japanese

I am a level 45 Imperial in Skyrim if that is of any consequence…thanks

  • Check your server error logs for messages, there may be clues there.

Updating your site may be one answer but make sure you backup the site first, files and database. If things don’t improve, again check your server logs.

Well done with the Skyrim thing, I never got past Sensible Soccer.

    Erm…Server Logs?
