    If you go to the page and search for “<div id=”571207343″>” you can see a script. I am trying to remove it. Somehow I placed it for all posts for, before content, it’s an ad, but I want to change it to after content. I just don’t know where the hell it is. I’ve searched for footer.php, header.php, page.php, index.php, etc. Nothing. I am trying to remove it because it’s next to the AdSense ad and I don’t want to get banned for it.

  • Hello ifailedprek,

    Can you please share the URL if you don’t mind.

    And do you remember adding any plugin for this?

    Hello ifailedprek,

    It seems the div is coming dynamically, it might be coming through the JS you might have added somewhere in the code or either in the CMS page.

    Thanks.

    Sorry, I’m very new to how HTML and WordPress works. So where would I be able to find the source location to edit it? Thank you again for your valuable time.

    Hello ifailedprek,

    It is quite difficult to find from where exactly it is getting triggered.

    Try to check your theme, header, footer and function file and see from anywhere there is any JS file for Google Ads

    Thanks.

    It’s not in any of those, I have checked. Also, it’s not AdSense code, it’s Media.net.

    Ok, my bad.

    Check if there is any such script added.
    <script src="//contextual.media.net/dmedianet.js?cid=8CUU8S76Q" async="async" type="83f94526c2679609a1605fe5-text/javascript"></script>

    If you have the source code in your local env, you can search in the whole theme folder.

    That is will be much quicker to find.

    Thanks.

    Hey @ifailedprek

    Could you please check if you are using any ad inserter plugin, it might have been added using the plugin.

    Best Regards,
    Juhi

    No, it is not added by my script inserter.

    @ifailedprek

    I was trying to debug the given page and found that the outer div have this class et_builder_inner_content et_pb_gutters3 and it seems to be from some divi builder plugin or maybe theme I am not sure.

    Let me know if I am wrong.

    I mean there is no way for me to click on the location where the ad is being displayed with the Divi Builder but I will try again.

    Found out why!

    @ifailedprek

    Great, what was the reason?
