I’m running three blogs on the same site and am using WordPress 2.5. All three blogs are set up the same way and yet the WYSISYG visual editor only shows up on two of them. I’ve checked ALL of the various settings, and have made sure that the “Use the visual editor when writing” found under Users > Your Profile box is checked and yet can’t that doesn’t seem to do anything.

I’ve spent a lot of time looking for the solution on this board and about all I find are others who are experiencing the same problem and yet there don’t seem to be any solutions. What is going on?

I’ve also tried to use different browsers (IE and Firefox) but that doesn’t seem to help either. As two of the three blogs do work, what is causing the problem with the third?

Okay, after spending far too much time on this problem, I saw a suggestion to delete js folder found in wp-includes, download a fresh copy of WP 2.5 and then upload just the js folder. For some unknown reason, that worked. Why? I haven’t a clue. All I know is that this worked from me. Good luck.
