[resolved] Where is the setting for reserved stock? (4 posts)

    Every time I set the option for Limited Quantity, and then enter the number, a message appears that says my stock has been reserved for pending orders. I do not have any order for that product.

    How can I remove this message and get the system to stop reserving my stock?

    I have gone into the database table wp_wpsc_claimed_stock to remove the data there that is causing my stock to be reserved for orders that do not exist.

    Can someone give me some information as to why such a situation can occur? I hope to resolve it so that it does not happen again.

    Hi compositelitmus, this just means that site visitors have added some items to the cart but have not proceeded through Checkout. These 'reserved' cart items are released based on the cart expiry set under Settings > Store > General within the WordPress Administration.
