Hi Stroberg,
If you used the one-click install in the past to set up your pages, those pages should still be there, unless they were deleted at some point. There is currently no button for the one-click install in the new plugin admin setup. If you wanted to run the one-click install, you could temporary roll back to an older version of the plugin (either by downloading an older version here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/front-end-only-users/advanced/ or using the WP Rollback plugin), run the one-click installer and then update back to the newest version of the plugin (version 3.1.18 was the last version before the new admin setup).
Hi! So, how are we suppose to use the plugin with the features that it promise without the one-click-installer? Any tips or guidance?
Why did you take that away?
Hi jojje,
It was removed because of an oversight on our part when we were creating the new plugin admin, not on purpose. We worked to standardize the design and functionality of all our plugin admins and this plugin had a button that none of the others had, and, as such, it was accidentally removed when we updated the admin. Right now, we’re looking into the best way to re-integrate into the admin. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Okej…
If I do a “Rollback”. Is my users and data still working with my front end or does it makes the plugin reset and I have to start over?
It will not affect the data in the plugin. It will only update the plugin files to the older versions.
