  • So I have been trying to plug in and there is some confusion.

    I assume Location is actually where you would place your staff.

    Where is the ability to email your staff their schedules? That is what grabbed my attention when I was searching.

    Well at the moment to simplify it a bit the “Location” entity can stand for an actual location, or for a work role. So it’s just Location + Staff configuration for a shift rather than Location + Role + Staff.

    Where is the ability to email your staff their schedules?

    When a shift is published or changed, the staff members get automatic emails with their shift(s) information.

    Where exactly is a location to enter their emails? I see nothing under the plug in.

    The staff details are taken from the WordPress users database, the emails of employees are those of their WordPress accounts.

    Ok so I figured out one step where I was messing up.

    To add “Users” you need to use the “Import from WordPress” option.

    I have done that now.

    Now when I add a new shift I click the location (Bar, Watress, etc)
    Select the time.
    Break if needed.
    Make sure the Date is correct.
    Click proceed.
    On the new page…..
    I select my staff.
    Make sure the status is ACTIVE
    Leave “skip notification email” unchecked and
    Click on the box, Add New Shift

    Shows up in the calendar but no email is being sent.

    This is being created on a test website for a potential customer. If I can not get it working then I can not try and see the plugin to the client.
