# where is post thumbnail?

 * I want to put thumbnails on my home page, but I cannot figure out how this works.
   I can’t find the thumbnail option in my edit page, for one thing.
    I have tried
   a couple plugins, but they just make a mess. Here’s the thing: I have pictures
   in my blogs, and they usually appear at the top. Adding a thumbnail on the front
   page ends up showing the full size picture with a thumbnail of it right beside.
   I want it to not show the full size picture and only show the thumbnail. How

   Is it a plugin or something in the Post Thumbnail thingy? Thanks!

 * FYI, the theme I use does not natively support post thumbnails, but I added all

 * activate “add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnails’ );”. Then you will get a “feature
   thumbnail” box at left panel.

 * Yes, I think you are not understanding me. I have done all that.
    Lemme try again.
 * In my blog (single post) I want to have a large-ish picture on the right hand
   side, beside my first paragraph.
 * On the main page (index) I want it to show the first paragraph and the _thumbnail_
   on the right side, but I want it to _not_ show the large-ish picture.
 * Doing it as instructed in the above tutorial ends up showing the large picture
   _and_ the thumbnail on the main (index) page.
 * How can I make the main (index) page show only the thumbnail and no other pictures
   from the blog (single post)?
