• Help … where are the settings for background images in a section or column?
I used to take the ‘fit to screen’ option, but can’t find it anymore after the Elementor update.

  • Hi,

I can still see these options after the update…
Might be some other plugin causing a confict.

Have you tried deactivating all plugins and switching theme to see if the issue is gone?
I fo example did not see any style options after the update, found out it was meta slider plugin causing this. After deactivating and activating that plugin again, styles where back!

Dunno. Did a rollback as I did not want to wait.
Will these days do the upgrade again and then see if it isn’t there, and, if necessary, do that plugin check … a lot of work as I have many plugins. 🙂

Actually you can de-activate all plugins at once by selecting them all, then chose> action> deactivate.

Yeah, but then activating them one by one and check each time in Elementor. I’ve 60 plugins installed – it is a staging site, where I am also testing out many plugins. Before the site goes public, all plugins that I don’t use (anymore) will be deleted. But for now … 🙂

omg 60 plugins, does a page still loads haha?
However, if you deactivate them all at once and the problem still persists, you can be pretty sure it is not plugin related. If the issue is gone, its a plugin.
At least then you know where to look.

    😉
Actually, yes, but I have a very fast connection.BUT … after deleting two plugins which, by using shortcodes (in Elementor), have the background-related Parallax Scroll effect I’ve everything back again.
I tried out those ones, because for small screens where that is not shown, the same (or another) picture instead is presented in those plugins.
I hope, the people from Elementor will ad that nice option too. 😉

Great you found the culprit! I have a very fast internet connection too, however one needs to consider the fact that others can and will look at a site with not so fast internet connections.

If ofcourse this is only for testing purposes, I understand you might want to have 60 plugins at some point to test. However, so many plugins are bound to have some sort of conflict and will give a different testing result opposed to when a site goes live with less plugins.
