Where in the world is wp-config.php in WP 3.0.1?

  • I had to change the database password. When I went to change the wp-config.php file, it was nowhere to be found. I looked in the blogs root directory, where it’s supposed to be, and it wasn’t there. So, I went on a search, using the hosts file manager — fun, fun – not!, and after searching every file on the host, there is no wp-config.php. Is it called something else in v3.0.1?

Please help, I’m dead in the water with the sharks circling!

    Thank you,
    Roy

It’s not changed. It’s still called wp-config.php and it should be in the root folder of your WP install.
