 * Hi all,
 * I have just setup a multi-site network, and I must admit it was easier than I
   thought it would be!!
    I am wondering if there is any info on how plugins now
   work?
 * I have some plugins that I want to be site(network)wide, and some that are specific
   to each individual site.
 * Where do i install these plugins?
    How do I manage them? Is there a compatibility
   issue atall with using plugins for a single site, and on a multisite network?
   Will the Twilight series ever end?
 * All heavy questions I know. Help would be appreciated.
 * Thanks

 * – Plugins can be installed as normal, in the plugins folder. They can then be
   activated as normal. You can then activate them on a site-by-site basis.
 * However a new option appears in the plugin page, called “Network Activate” which
   does just that.
 * – The exception is for special plugins that should always be running (like domain
   mappings), they go in the mu-plugins folder. A plugin will say if that’s needed.
 * – There may be compatibility issues with older plugins, you just should be wary
   of adding anything new (as always). However I’ve yet to run into any issues so
   far.
 * – Never. It will go on until the sun finally stops sparkling (and then Edward
   will too).

 * It depends on the plugin. Most of them are getting better.
 * Network activation just means the plugin is turned on for each site. It doesn’t
   do anything with the plugin’s options unless the plugin is specifically coded
   to make use of it. (and it will say so)..

 * Oh god make it stop….
