[Resolved] where do I put the code to make my post titles longer?

  • I’ve found several threads asking how to make the full title of posts show with thumbnails, which is what I am trying to do.

    I understand that I am not to mess with the plugin code, but do it in my theme’s code.

    But – to show how much of a newbie I am – where *exactly* do I find my theme’s code that deals with my plugin and know I’m not in my plugin’s code?

    And where *exactly* do I put the following code?

    .yarpp-thumbnail { height: 200px !important; }
    .yarpp-thumbnail-title { max-height: 4em !important; }

    Thanks in advance for answering my basic question!

    Those edits go in your theme’s style.css file. In the left sidebar of your Admin interface, go to Appearance –> Editor and click the style.css file in the right sidebar.

    Add those lines at the bottom of the file and click “Save.”

    Empty your browser’s cache and reload your page and that should fix the problem.

    Thank you! That worked!
