I have been using WP for a couple of years and while it is great it is always an adventure too.
I cannot find where in WP my articles are kept. for example if i change a published article doe sit make a back up copy ans store it somewhere?

This should be an easy question for anyone with some real WP understanding, but for me I am just guessing… HELP

  • Are you talking files? If so they aren’t, they are stored in the database.

Let me see if I can make this any more clear.
I use WP for my website. I write articles and publish them on the website.
I cannot find where WP stores my articles.

In the database in the posts table.

All posts and revisons are in the database. Go to the post editor for a page/post. Open Screen Options. Tick “Revisions.” See a list of revisions under the post editor window.
