Where do I find link HTML?

    Sorry if this has come up before or is strikingly obvious or is in the wrong place but…

    I have a theme with an image in the footer and want to add a link to an external site to the image. I know the HTML to do this but cannot I where the src link is to edit it.

    Searched through all the php files can find the call but not the actual HTML

    well, if it’s in the footer, you’ll need to work with that. Unfortunately, we can’t know what the code looks like without seeing it, as well as seeing your site to understand the context.
