    Hello,

I have used smush (plug in) for the first time on a site with around 20 images which i have uploaded. The reason why I used smush was because my site is running extremely slow got a bad score for image optimization. I just started the site and hardly have anything on there so I was very confused why the site was running so slow.

When Smush finished compressing all my images, it said that 1107 images have been compressed! So I had a look at all my uploads and see images on here that I have never seen before! So i guess this is my problem for the bad image optimization score. So my questions is: 1. How did these images get uploaded to my site? 2. How can I remove them?

    Hope someone can help.

    Best,
    Chris

    Hi @pleazo

This seems like an issue caused by the smush plugin or another plugin on your site, and not something that has happened due to the WooCommerce core plugin. This forum is specific to help with WooCommerce core. I’d recommend reaching out to the smush plugin for support, or perhaps the theme you are using included demo images when it was added to the site.
