Where are versions stored?

    I’m wondering where the versions of these plugins are stored and how many versions it stores. I’m interested in this plugin, but we have a lot of plugins and I’m worried that this plugin with slow things down if it is stored several versions for many plugins. How does the plugin affect page speed or database speed? Does it cause a lot of database bloat?
