Support » Themes and Templates » Where are the premium themes of WordPress.org?

Unlike WordPress, there is no list of approved premium themes on WordPress.org. (if there is, I am not aware of it).

Thus, how do I know a premium theme that is really compatible with WordPress and, if possible, with a good track record?

    Thank you.

WordPress.ORG does not sell any commercial products at all, and has no information about them either.

There is, however, a list of GPL theme developers/vendors – which is a good place to start:

    Commercial

But so far as specific themes or developers, you’ll have to do your own research and due diligence. Ask questions, look at websites and support forums (if available), use Google. Look at how often themes are updated, make sure there’s good support if you are likely to need it. Read the fine print :)!

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I wish you would suggest informative review articles focused on “GPL Themes”. That would save time for me and would help others who might read this thread.

    Thank you again.

Sorry, I don’t know of any – perhaps Google can help you find some.

Oh, it appears one can get plenty info by googling “GPL wordpress theme”.

    Thank you again.
    Have a nice day.
