I’m trying to use JoeBlogs WordPress/Metaweblog API Wrapper ( to batch-edit my posts but unfortunately the editpost() method is crashing.

So I was thinking about maybe editing the “post files” manually but I can’t seem to find where they are located. I’m using Bluehost and I’ve downloaded the whole filestructure to my local hd but they don’t seem to exist there. Am I looking in the wrong place, are they in a db somewhere or where are they and can I access them somehow? 🙂

Yes, in the database. What are your trying to edit? WP has a batch editor.

Hello kmessinger! Thank you for your answer, that clears things up 🙂

It seems like the batch editor is the way to go! Any hints on where I can find it before I start googling?

    Thank you

Dashboard, Posts, All Posts. Check the ones you want to edit or by clicking on title all will get checked. Go to bulk actions and pick edit. It is limited to certain edits but hopefully what you need to do will be possible.

Thanks again! Yes, hopefully that’ll be enough! Also, I got my question answered, thumbs up!
