# Where are posts saved?

 * I’m redoing everything on my site including my wordpress. I would like to carry
   my posts over from my current blog to my new one. Which folder and/or files do
   I need to transfer?

 * And for clarification, I’m wanting to erase everything in regards to my blog,
   except for the posts. All files for the blog will be deleted, I just don’t want
   to lose my posts.

 * The content is all in a database on your server. It is completely separate to
   your files.

 * You can get to your database via phpmyadmin which is usually located somewhere
   within your mysql area of your control panel.
