Where are H1 tags for front page and posts?

    Just looking for confirmation… on the front page, is the name of the website the H1 tag, and on all posts, are the post titles the H1 headers?

    Yes, both the site title and post/page titles are rendered in h1 tag.

    Thanks for answering, sir… one more follow-up… I’ve been reading a bit about SEO, and one idea is that on any page that is not your home/archive page, the site title can be relegated to <span> status, leaving the post title as <h1> and being more prominent in SEO.

    I don’t know if it’s necessary or not, but is there a decently easy way to throw that condition in?

    Sorry for the delay in responding.

    Not much in to SEO things myself but I’ll try and experiment the suggestion with a view of implementing it in a future update.
