    thanks for your question!

    No, table data is not stored in files, but in the database. TablePress is not using its own database tables though, but uses the existing WordPress database tables, through the available APIs. Specifically, TablePress tables are stored as JSON-encoded arrays in the “tablepress_table” Custom Post Type, which WordPress stores in the “wp_posts” database table.
