  • I have disabled the temporary fix, but I’m wondering when there will be a permanent fix? I understand it may not be what users of this plugin want to hear, but it’s up to the users to manage their own caching separately from this plugin.

Do you have a permanent solution in mind?

  • In particular, the concern is that the password reset links are valid indefinitely if you don’t modify the code.

You mean none not update if cache is enabled?

The solution can be get fresh nonce via ajax after page loading.

Strange, by idea password reset link should expire in a day: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/check_password_reset_key/
