Support » Plugin: Captcha Code » When plugin is activated, make health check errors

  • Hello,

When plugin is installed and active. 2 errors occurs in WP site health tool.
If plugin disabled, no more issues.

    2 critical issues

The REST API encountered an error / Performance
The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages.

The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

Your site could not complete a loopback request / Performance
Loopback requests are used to run scheduled events, and are also used by the built-in editors for themes and plugins to verify code stability.

The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

Same problem for me. The plugin is really good, so I’m looking forward for a fix to this problem

cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

It fails not only on REST API but also on loopback test and wp_update_check() filter

Same issue here. I have removed it.

Exactly same issue here (running WP 5.6.). Plugin version 2.7. included in standard WP distribution at Infomaniak service provider. Additionally to @arnaud’s remarks about both critical bugs (active php session and loopback failure), I notice a heavy slowdown in loading site health page. I have to remove the plugin until problems solved.

    The same problem.

When plugin is active there are two problems at Site Health Tab:

    • An active PHP session was detected
    • The REST API encountered an error

And when plugin is deactivated I can see this msg: “0 critical issues”
