Support » Plugin: BuddyPress XMLRPC - Receiver » When installing, the extra database fields for apikeys are never installed

  • Hi! Unfortunately, it seems that this plugin, when installing, does not add the necessary database tables for the apikeys (de-installing, deleting, and re-installing makes no difference whatsoever), and/or doesn’t add the required profile links to get access to those — probably some slug conflicts which get ignored by BuddyPress and thus are never trigerred.

I’m just using a child theme of the default BuddyPress theme to make sure that the problem is not with the theme.

I understand that this project was abandoned (a pity, since it is insanely useful), but any pointers to how to fix it would be very welcome! If not, I guess that the only alternative is to use a user’s password and fix the code to use that instead (no need for extra database/profile changes ).

It’s a pity to leave such awesome code standing around without putting it to good use 🙂
