• Hi from Italy.

I have a website under construction and I have integrated with Contact Form 7. When I submit the form I get an error message with a red border saying “An error occurred while sending your message. Please try again later.”

I tried configuring an internal server with Easy WP SMTP: installed with positive mailing test.

I also created the new email “wordpress@xxxxxxx.com” in my domain
This are the field in my MAIL tab form:

    TO: [_site_admin_email]
    FROM: [_site_title] <wordpress@xxxxxxx.com>
    SUBJECT: object
    ADDITIONAL HEADERS: blank
    MESSAGE BODY:
    From: [your-name] <[your-email]>
    Subject: [your-subject]

    Message body:
    [your-message]

    FILE ATTACHMENTS: empty

    NO EMAIL 2

    Unfortunately it doesn’t work

    Hi from The Netherlands!

    I have the same issue.
Checked the FAQ url mentioned above.

I’m using WordPress v5.6, php 7.4. No issues mailing via wordpress itself: getting automatic emails from my wordpress install, for example when new blogs are added or passwords are changed.

Tried to deactivate/activate the Contact Form plugin, and also reinstalled it, but still the same issue. Also on my other domains, running on other servers. Had to switch to another Contact Form plugin, wp forms. Mail works with this plugin.

Hope you can fix Contact Form, because I really like it. Using it for years.
    Kind regards, Rom
