when i run a search with the search widget, the search results have deleted post

    when i run a search with the search widget, the search results are showing excerpts from posts that have already been deleted a long time ago. How do I access these excerpts to delete the ones that are to deleted posts.

    Here is example , fourth excerpt down shows excerpt and when you click on “continue reading” link it takes you to a page that says”page not found.”
