When I place the php code in archive.php to display on a category page, it loads posts from all categories. Do I need a new repeater template for archive.php?

Here’s the code I copied from home.php:

<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[ajax_load_more post_type=”post” offset=”10″ scroll=”false” button_label=”Load More Posts”]’); ?>

Hi!
You need to pass the category/tag or whatever you are archiving to Ajax Load More.

I’ve tried modifying it to the following and it’s still showing all posts. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.

<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[ajax_load_more category=”‘.$category->slug.'” offset=”10″ scroll=”false” button_label=”Load More Posts”]’); ?>

It might have been your quotes and single quotes.

try this.
```
<?php 
   $cat = get_query_var('cat');
   $category = get_category ($cat);
   echo do_shortcode('[ajax_load_more category="'.$category->slug.'" offset="10" scroll="false" button_label="Load More Posts"]'); 
?>
```
