Hello, sorry if this a dumb question but I tried searching and couldn’t find what I was looking for –
When I create a link in one of my posts to another post on the same blog, within a few moments I get a notification in the dashboard that a comment is awaiting my approval. When I go to comments, I see a comment awaiting approval that contains a excerpt of the text from the linked post. If I approve it, it indeed creates a weird comment under that blog post, showing an except of the other post.
Why is it doing this? Should I just delete them? Is there some reason why I would want this?
