When entering wp-admin sanitize_post called more than million times

    Hi,

    I have a following problem. I have installed WP 4.3.1 and installed theme muusico from themeforest/2035.

    They have 3 new taxonomies for artists, albums, lyrics.
    I have imported ~70000 actors and after that found significant increase in memory consumption after logging in wp-admin. it takes hundreds of Mb of RAM and loads processor.

    Following investigation showed that main time is spent to process sanitize_post_field() calls. I guess it calls it for all records in database.

    Please advice what can cause it to check all posts or just behave in described way.

    You are going to have to contact 2035Themes for support. Because it’s a commercial theme, it’s impossible for us to load and inspect the theme, and it sounds like what you are experiencing qualifies as a bug, so they should be able to respond to your question.
