Support » Plugin: Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress » When editing default language content from editor, i lose the translated content

  • Resolved SeoFoxx

Hi, i refer to this old topic:

Im confused that this is not a problem for many other users as well since in my eys this is a 100% nogo.
Of course i need to change my default content afterwards, with special website topics this can happen very often.

So now i need to add all translated content again (although it is just clicking the “saved” option) but if i had 20 languages and need to change my content very often…this is a very time intensive work.

So, i dont think that the developers can be happy with this situation. My question, why dont you add a “if/than” feature that does this work automticly when changed default content.
This shouldnt be a big deal but will help a lot. So adding the saved translated content again and resave.

I really hope that you will think about this feature. In the past i offered translatepress to many of our clients but this is a no go and my current client is very very angry with me, since this means a lot more work for him.

    Waiting for your reply.

    Hello there

Thank you for letting us know about this!

We prioritize new features, based on the number of requirements from our users.

For the time being, we have no demand or even the resources to start working on this. We take your idea in our consideration, but first, we need to prioritize the most required proposals.

If there`s anything else, please let me know!

    Kind Regards,
