# When does WP ping ?

 * When exactly does WP send a ping? I am asking about pre-scheduled postings. Does
   it ping when the posting goes live or when it is scheduled?

 * With the latest version, the pings happen after the post is marked as published
   and shows up on the site.

   settings box, but I was looking on the technorati site and they say you should

 * I was also doing a search on technorati for my blog and nothing was found. Why
   is this?
 * I have been getting lots of spam though so it’s obviously being found by something.
