 * When I add content in the article Yoast plugin will not show a Green signal I’m
not sure if the Yoast plugin cannot read custom content from other themes & plugins.
 * I would like to confirm this from Yoast plugin support.
 * I contacted theme support and they told me to add the content to the article
and it will still rank on google and it will get analyzed by search engines I
want to make sure if it’s true
 * I get this Error: The text contains 0 words. ( even though there’s content on
   the page)
 * Note: I have two boxes to add the content ( Article and description)

 * It is not very important that it glows green. It is important for the article
   to engage the reader.

 * Hi [@sa5awii92](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sa5awii92/)
 * We do know that the Yoast SEO plugin’s content analysis is able to detect content
from the default WordPress block or classic editor. It should also work with
supported page builders such as Elementor.
 * However, for other third-party page builders and custom theme boxes, the Yoast
SEO content analysis may not be able to detect the content added through these.
You can learn more about it here – [https://yoast.com/help/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/](https://yoast.com/help/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/)
 * However, you’re correct that even though our plugin can’t detect the content,
Google and the other crawlers should still be able to parse the content that
you’ve added through these other page builders or custom theme boxes.

 * Regarding your answer, I should handle custom themes box-like the default WordPress
box like adding (internal and external links, H2,…) normally?
 * So how google will analyze my focused keywords when it’s not added to the Focus
keyphrase box?. I already added the focus keyphrase to the box and the content(
custom content box) but I just want to make sure it will get analyzed by search
   engine
 * Another question about Yoast premium, Can I know duplicate content with the Yoast
plugin? ( is there any indicators)

 * We recommend adding the content in default WordPress content areas like the title,
URL and the main WordPress content editor and as mentioned before supporting
   page builder currently is Elementor.
 * Focus keyphrase actually doesn’t get output in the page source or anywhere on
the code of your website nor does Google see it. They are used in conjunction
with the SEO and Readability analysis so that you can improve on the content
of your post or page based on that chosen focus keyphrase. We recommend that
you perform the necessary keyword research, then add the focus and related keyphrases
to your most important posts or pages first, and then modify your content accordingly,
based on the suggestions from the content analysis.
 * You can learn more about it here — [https://yoast.com/focus-keyword/](https://yoast.com/focus-keyword/)&
   [https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/synonyms-related-word-forms-premium/](https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/synonyms-related-word-forms-premium/)
 * With Yoast SEO free/premium it automatically adds canonical URL on your page
source. If your pages don’t use canonical URL tags, search engines can easily
get confused by duplicate content on your website. That can hurt your rankings,
visibility, and traffic. That’s where Yoast SEO comes in. Learn more [here](https://yoast.com/features/canonical-url-tags/).

 * Okay, that’s clear now.
 * Thank you for the help and clarification!!
