# What’s your theme width ?

 * My site’s optimized for 800×600 screen resolutions.
 * I’m running 1600×1200.
 * Is there anyone out there who is even running anything lower than 1024×768 (not
   counting pda’s etc) ?
 * Can I safely switch over to a wider theme and not worry about aggravating my 
   readers ?

 * 2.78% of my visitors are running 800×600, with
    the rest running at higher resolutions.
 * My question is answered.

 * Does your host provide stats that show what screen resolution your visitors use?
   My site is optimized for 1024×768 or above. About 15% of my visitors are at 800
   ×600 or below. I decided that was still a significant fraction. My site is semi-
   liquid and will shrink down to 800×600 and still look OK.

 * I gave up on fluid widths — instead I have two versions of my theme, one for 
   800, one for 1024, and I use theme switcher plugin to let folks pick.
 * How many actually use that choice, I’m not sure.
