    Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. First create a child theme for your changes.

    ‘twenty eleven child theme by ej osborne’
    i have the options on the screen to go back to twenty eleven or twenty ten on the theme screen.

    .. if it helps.. my child theme is just a blank one that i add to, with the import rule at the top.
    this is my .css so far:

    Change #content to #primary

    nope.. that doesn’t work either.

    I just looked at the code for your site and the last section in your style.css still shows

    #content {
    background-color: transparent;
    }

    it should be

    #primary {
    background-color: transparent;
    }

    This works when I try it in Chrome 19 on Windows 7

    Start by naming your child theme’s folder something other than style.css!

    i’ve added that line again to the bottom and it’s not working.. at least, i can’t see it in the safari browser!

    can someone have a look for me??
    cheers.
