    I’m pretty sure that’s just saying that the latest version of CPTUI, version 1.8.0, isn’t compatible with WP 5.4.x, so until you’re ready to upgrade to WP 5.5, you’ll be just fine with CPTUI 1.7.4

    1.7.5 for us was addressing some UI changes that came with WP5.5, and 1.8.0 actually started using some new core features, as well as an extra bug fix around jQuery.
