• Hi folks,

Since I can’t authenticate the plugin for some reason, I have get my UA code and manually enter it. To get the code, I have to create a Google Analytics account.

To clarify, once I’ve authenticated the UA code, to see my data I just sign into my Google account, correct? The plugin doesn’t display this data for me in my WordPress dashboard?

This has always confused me. Everything seems to be written for people who already understand this stuff.

    Thanks!

The data for your site will appear in the Google Analytics site, when you log in.

The plugin simply sets Google Analytics up – for instance, by placing the code that Google Analytics needs on your site to gather data – and adds some more functionality than a default Google Analytics installation gives.

My site is no longer being found by the Google robots. It tells me that it cannot find the robot.txt page that is in my header. I’m also confused because it was working just fine. Now my site comes up about 10th under a search of my own name, and without the actual URL in the google listing.

Then perhaps you’d like to post your own topic instead of joining this old one which has nothing to do with your issue?

This plugin is for analytics only, the Yoast SEO plugin sub-forum is here.
