    Thank you in advance!,

    I have a problem with a commercial theme. its a general problem i've seen before. The problem occured suddenly (been checking index , header.php etc) Can find any missing /div's or anything inconsistent.

    The problem: Whatever static page i choose, it always pushes down my sidebar beneath the main content. When i choose that page as a regular page (so not as a static page), it doesn't push down the sidebar. Because of this last detail, i'm confident the problem is easy to solve!

    With kind regards,

    Yeah thanks, still have a lot to learn.

    I suppose Line 192, Column 86: An body start tag seen but an element of the same type was already open.

    the page-id for my static page is 516. Tho i dont understand why the page displays correctly if i dont use id=516 as a static page?

    Could you tell me how to correct that mistake as i dont really understand what the fault is and where to find that line in my script..

    Unfortunately, there's not an easy way to track down errors - this explains how to start:

    A browser tool such as Firebug may also be helpful.

    You could also start by deactivating your plugins and switching to the default theme to see if that fixes any of the errors or problems.

    If it looks like a theme issue (i.e. the errors are not in your content), you'll need to ask WooThemes for help - as we don't support commercial themes here.

    keep fixing the validation errors.

    seems to be caused by this style in layout.css of your theme:

    /*--[ Homepage ]--------------------------------------------------------------------------------*/
    .home #content {
      float: none;
    }

    please contact woothemes for support with fixing the problem.

    Oke i understand. The thing is, this problem occured from one day to another. I've been playing around with the head and index.php. That's it, so im sure the problem lays there.

    There's another problem that simultaniously occured: dropdown menu's arent selectable anymore. Not that i mind.

    Question: in what script of my template will i find this line:

    I suppose Line 192, Column 86: An body start tag seen but an element of the same type was already open.

    --> because php devides all sections, i cant find where to look..

    One final question, not on this topic: Would you advice me to fix every problem that occurs in the validator's, before launching a website? Like fix all the css problems the css validator commes across?

    Thanks for your advice. Will use W3C validator checks more often, stop being ignorant;).

    The problem was actually caused by the float property set to none.
