what to put in own php.ini file

  • I am new to wordpress and have it runnning well, except for a problem uploading images – error message when clicking upload something like ‘file empty or php.ini not allowing uploads’. I can upload using ftp and manually place images. I have tried cpanel to change permissions for wp-content and wp-content/uploads with no change in upload error. I have tried to get help from host but they don’t seem to want to help. Have read that I might be able to create my own php.ini file and place it into the wp-content(?) folder. But, what do I put in this file. Can anyone give me some advice and/or code to try?
