• I just tried to add a new post to my website, and not only would it not let me insert an image to my post, when I tried to save it as a draft, all it saved was my post title. It deleted my entire post! This really makes me mad! What makes me even more mad is I can’t call or email anyone directly, but I have post here for help. Not that I don’t appreciate people here who want to help. However, sometimes people need more ya know? Plus, sometimes, no one replies or you have to wait a long time for a response. Not really helpful when you need immediate help. Anyway, I wish I could get my post to post and not have it disappear when I try to post it.

WordPress is free software. What else were you expecting?

However, sometimes people need more ya know?

There are hundred of pages of documentation that range from complete beginner to advanced design at http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

You can also try searching the support forums for possible answers to your problems instead of just posting immediately. If you had, then I’m sure you would have seen the following posted many, many, times. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

As Esmi says WordPress is free software, if you are expecting enterprise level support with a guaranteed response time, that is not at all realistic. People aren’t paid to help out on here. If the support here is not good enough for you, no you don’t have to post on the forum, you do have another option – you can hire someone for paid support on a one to one basis, for training or to go over your site and fix any problems they come across – you can post at jobs.wordpress.net if that is more suitable.

To help people to help you you need to describe what the issue is in as much detail as possible including what has changed since it was last working properly.

Esmi’s troubleshooting steps will help isolate the problem if it is caused by something in a plugin or in your theme.
