Support » Plugin: Smush - Optimize, Compress and Lazy Load Images » What Smush Scripts have to load on each page of your website?

    Hi there,

I am trying to optimize my website for speed and I am using a plugin called Asset Clean Up which lists all the SMUSH scripts (and others) that are loading on each web page.

I have used SMUSH to optimize my images but what SMUSH scripts need to be loaded onto each web page? And does any SMUSH scripts need to be loaded onto the web page at all once the images have been optimized?

    Many thanks

    Hi @tallmale,

I hope you are doing well today!

Normally, after smushing the images you don’t need to load any scripts after that for each page, but it is better to keep all for backend/admin operations for the media library and uploading operations to run smoothly, and for the frontend side you will also need lazy loading scripts to be active if you are using it.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer
